General control of plant pathogens on inanimate hard surfaces. For non-porous surfaces, orchids, fountains, ornamentals. Algaecide, Fungicide, Bactericide, Virucide.
This really is a great product to have. Almost all genera can handle it at low doses. Hardier species won't even notice it. More sensitive species like Drosera and most Pings can handle if slightly more dilute. I tend to use about 1 - 1.5 mL/L. These species will typically lose a couple leaves but will rebound with the next week or two. Make sure you thoroughly soak all surfaces of the plant. If you have some mold or algae forming on the surface just drench the top layer with a spray bottle.
For algae control in trays and reservoirs of Evo-Flow systems, dose at around 1 ml per 10 gallons of water about once a week. Physan breaks down into nitrogen after about a weeks time so will need to be reintroduced regularly.
The only negative is Physan 20 KILLS live sphagnum. I repeat, DO NOT use Physan 20 on live sphagnum.
