Push fittings are imported from China. This is one of the few categories I will tell you it is better to import than buy American.

1) Pricing is ridiculously cheap.
2) I've used thousands and can't recall one actually failing.
3) Did I mention the price?
4) The insert collar you press to eject the tube is looser and easier to push in. This might seem like a fault at first, but you'll agree with me after you almost rip off your thumbnail and slam your knuckles into the oddly sharp edge of a shelf working with the American fittings. Don't make me post bloody pictures on here!
5) Valves are the only exception to this rule. The handle slowly looses its grip on the internal ball valve. Usually within 4-6 months of daily use a full turn of the handle only translates to a 70% ball valve turn. I recommend buying the more expensive valves where you will use them daily or have a permanent spot designed. If you like to DIY or experiment, buy an extra 5 or 10 chinese valves just to have lying around. They will come in handy.
